There are many today who question the relevance and accuracy of the Bible. Some offer other alternatives to it, while others claim to offer a better interpretation of it, and some simply dismiss it as being a fake. In order to confirm the Bible as being his true word, God set forth certain patterns, to tie his word together. One of the patterns put forth in the Bible, is the use of the number three. The main purpose of the Bible is to prepare us for the day of judgement. As we shall see, on the day of judgement, there are three basic things God will pass judgement on.
THE THEME OF THIS STUDY IS THREE THINGS--THE SIGNIFIGANCE OF THE NUMBER THREE |

Early on in scripture we see God establishing a theme in regards to himself which will reverberate, down through the ages. This theme which God established is, OUT OF THE THREE, THERE IS ONLY ONE. The Bible clearly teaches that there is only ONE GOD, yet for the sake of our understanding, God has manifested himself in many different ways. Yet none of these manifestations gives us a plurality of gods. God himself clearly tells us, that there was never was nor will ever be another God (more than one God). 10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. Isaiah 43:10. The number three is often used by God to show that he's one, in both body and purpose. Thus out of three, there is only one true God. One of the first examples of God stressing this theme, is in the face to face encounter he had with Abraham. |

The Bible describes Satan as being a fallen angel. We are also told that since his rebellion and fall, he and those who rebelled with him, have been cast down on the earth. He has since been filled with rage and anger, knowing that he has but a short time to work his wickedness. 9And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. 12Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. Rev 12:9&12. Although Satan himself is listed as being one individual, he has a whole host of colleagues (other fallen angels), who are in league with him. When Christ spoke to the demon that had possessed a man who lived in Gadarenes, he asked what was his name. to which the demon replied "my name is legion". 8 For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit. 9 And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many. Mk 5:8-9. Among these legions of fallen angels, there are some whom Satan empowers, to perform certain specific task, in Satan???s ongoing attempt, to kill, rob and destroy the lives of all humanity. The workings of Satan, whom the Bible calls the god of this world, can be categorized, into three specific areas. John describes the threefold tactic used by Satan in these last days, to both blind and bind mankind. This is the description given by John in the book of revelation. 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of #1. the dragon, and out of the mouth of #2. the beast, and out of the mouth of #3. the false prophet. 14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Rev 16:13-14. We call this the "unholy trinity" which consists of 1. Satan himself, 2. the Beast (the political, religious beast) and 3. the false prophet (the religious, political beast). There are many fallen angelic spirit in this world, with Satan being ruler over them, and the empowerer (as permitted by God). Satan is the one who enables the other members of the unholy trinity to "speak great things," perform "lying miracles, signs and wonders" and call down fire from heaven. It is very important to understand that this individual called the Antichrist and the Beast is not Satan the Devil, but is in Satan's service and is a representative of Satan's demonic spiritual government, just like the False Prophet (Rev.16:13; 20:10). The Bible clearly states that Satan the Devil is a master at the art of deception: ???He is that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world??? (Rev. 12:9). He has been a liar from the very beginning (Jn.8:44). Satan is working behind the scene, in regards to much of the various religious and governmental activity we see taking place today. The closer we get to the day of judgement, the more we see Satan, seeking to manipulate, entice, and deceive, men RELIGIOUSLY AND GOVERNMENTALLY AWAY FROM GOD. His plan via the beast and false prophet, is having the desired effects. 1And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. 4And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? Rev 13:1-4. As John tells us, Satan is the behind the scenes empowerer, ???and the dragon gave him his power???. God has set a time when he will pass judgement on the spirits, which operates in the beast, and the false prophet. We are told that the two fallen angelic spirits (powers) which were in league with Satan, the beast and the false prophet, will be cast into the fire before Satan, "And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone." Rev 19:20. Then on the great day of judgement, Satan himself will be cast into the fire. "And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever." Rev 20:10.

Not only is Christ going to judge these three, The beast, the false prophet, and the Dragon. and cast them into the lake of fire. We will also be judged. Click next tab to advance slides
