I've counseled spouses who admitted they deviously plotted their divorce, and I have counseled spouses who never saw it coming.  For some the guilt of their past deeds was overwhelming, for the others, the pain they experienced was overwhelming.  Either way their question was, "so what now?"  Perhaps you are separated but not yet divorced: Or perhaps you have been divorced and now remarried.
