We are told that in the end times men will totally reject God.  Instead they will choose to place themselves above God.  As Paul tells us, "they will  worship the creature more than the creator"  Rom 1.  The end times will be a time when the prevailing attitudes of men will be, "“This is my life, I’ll live as I please.  This is my body,  I’ll do what I want with it,.  (Regardless of what you say in the Bible), I am going to do things my way."  (Are we there yet?).

The more these attitudes prevail, the more we give rise to the beast.  There several hot button issues, that Satan and the powers of darkness, are utilizing in an effort to manipulate the mass of humanity into rejecting God.   These are, 1. Humanism,  2.Feminism,  3. LGBTQ-ISM and 4. Racism

There is now a well coordination rebellion, when it comes to the Judeo-Christian values, that was once the bedrock on which our nation stood.  We are not calling these movements, “ The beast”  But much of the effort being exerted by these groups, is an all-out attack on Christianity.

We  will take a brief overview of these  movements, As we shall see throughout the rest of this book, much of the well established Judeo-Christian value system, has been great impacted by these items

HUMANISM?- The Happy Human is an icon and the official symbol of the International Humanist and Ethical Union (IHEU), a world body of Humanist organizations, and has been adopted by many Humanist organizations and individuals worldwide The religion of Humanism makes Man the measure of all things and puts him on the throne in the place of God.  Humanism in its purest form is idolatry.  It worships and serves the creature and the creation rather than the Creator.

Although the U.S. Constitution forbids the creation of a national establishment of religion, our government has adopted the religion of Secular Humanism.  It is this doctrine which is now more and more being used to  the govern the curriculum of our tax-funded public schools. Some humanists claim that secular humanism is a religion; other humanists claim that it isn’t.

However, In March 1987, U.S. District Judge W. Brevard Hand ruled that Secular Humanism was a religion. Indeed, Phyllis Schlafly, a graduate of Harvard Law School, wrote in 1980, Diane Dew tells us “Secular Humanism has become the established religion in the U.S. public school system.”

What has made the religion of humanism so appealing stems from the fact that it does not look like a religion in any form or fashion. It’s is not about some mystical god or devil or supreme being of any sort.  At first glance it simply seems to be all about us as human beings:

About our priorities, our agenda, our pleasure, our intellect, our dreams and aspirations, our own personal strengths.  This is what has made Satan’s end time conspiracy so undetectable, On the surface he has made it all about us, as he lurks and hides within our  personal desires.

It's hard not to notice, that in the time of crises, many are trying to encourage and comfort one another, based on human goodness, strength, and aspiration, minus God.   It is very heart warming to see we as human beings doing things of merit, giving of our time, talents and resources.   But it's sad to see that much of what is being done, purposely leaves, God, and our need for Him out of the equation.

The American Humanist Association, is one example of the efforts being put forth to forge a society, which stresses human strengths and merits, minus God,  Compare their mission statement.  “We strive to bring about a progressive society where being good without a god is an accepted and respected way to live life.

We are accomplishing this through our defense of civil liberties and secular governance, by our outreach to the growing number of people without traditional religious faith, and through a continued refinement and advancement of the humanist worldview. Humanism is a nontheistic worldview with ethical values informed by scientific knowledge and driven by a desire to meet the needs of people in the here and now.

At the foundation of those values is an affirmation of the dignity of every human being. The humanistic principles are that which is most being presented to kids in public schools.  These are concept, which purposely and aggressively omit all things godly.   These concepts are commonly known as the gospel of Humanism.

THIS IS MY LIFE!! THIS IS MY BODY!! THIS IS MY WAY!!  What makes this ancient religion so powerful stems from the fact, that the altar we bow down to, is an alter that we erect to our self.   Humanism- embraces human reason, ethics, and philosophical naturalism while specifically rejecting religious dogma, supernaturalism, pseudoscience, and superstition as the bases of morality and decision making. Secular humanism puts forth the idea that human beings are capable of being ethical and moral without religion or a god.

Matt Chandler, tells us,  “Because we humans are worshippers, we are rejoicers. It’s what we do. Every single person, whether religious or irreligious, actively worships. Down through the ages men have identified something bigger than themselves that they believe is worthy of their money, time, and the meditations of their hearts.

In many ways, they have offered themselves as sacrifices to that “something,” whatever it is. It comes naturally to them. Easily. Enjoyably.”   Amazingly outside of the realm of traditional worship, for many today the greatest object of their  worship today is self.

FEMINISM??  (WOMEN’S RIGHTS? verses RADICAL FEMINISM?)   Many are not able to distinguish the difference between the women’s rights movement, and the feminist movement. Normally when the issue of women rights comes up there is a tendency to lump all aspects into one general grouping.  In truth there are many different aspects of the women’s rights movement, along with many different motives and agendas at work.

In the case of women rights advocates,  this could be a woman who generally seek the fair and equitable treatment of women, when it comes to the work place, in the judicial system, and in regards to wages and salaries.  All fair minded individuals should readily accept the fact that women are of equal value to the man.

Sadly many women have bought into the lie that God does not want them to be successful.  As we shall see It was never God’s intent, n the giving of the guidelines for the male and female assigned roles and responsibilities, to demean the woman, whom He greatly loves.

Contrary to what some imply, it is not God’s will or intent  that a woman’s intellect, and creativity to be limited to the home. Is it His will that women  be successful, and that the expression of their intellect, abound in all areas of day to day life.   Does God hate women? As we shall see the answer is unequivocally no.

Many feminist view the Bible as being misogynistic and too constrictive.  There is no denying the fact, that some men have used the Bible verses which call for the man to be the head of the woman, to justify their position as a tyrant, abuser, and neglector or their true husbandly responsibilities

According to the Bible Both men and women were equally created in the image of God (Genesis 1:17). Both men and women are equally worthy of eternal salvation (Galatians 3:28). And both men and women are equally cared for by God as “heirs together of the grace of life” (I Peter 3:7). The Bible makes no distinction between men and women regarding their personal worth.

God’s Word clearly states that we are all equally His children and are of equal value and worth before Him.   When salvation takes place, we all become spiritual sons of God.  Thus when a husband and wife are both saved, Galatians 3:28 tells us, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus" (Galatians 3:28).

The teaching of the New Testament clearly shows that women are to be respected, revered, and treated as equals with men.  The Bible also makes it clear that the man and the woman though equal in value, do not have the same role assignments.

There are those who say that the Bible promotes misogyny (the hatred of women).   It’s claimed that the verses in the Bible, which  calls for the man to take on the responsibility of leader, is demeaning to women.  We site one such verse.   Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, He Himself being the Savior of the body. But as the church is subject to Christ, so also the wives ought to be to their husbands in everything.  Ephe 5.

If we read this entire chapter, we will find that God is not seeking to demean women,  He is calling for mutual love and respect on the part of both parties,  In fact God tells the husband he is to love his wife the way he loves himself. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for  her,  So husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself; for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, Ephesians 5:22-30.

It is interesting to note when it comes to  Feminism,  Humanism,  LGBTQ-ISM,  and Black Live Matter. there is a close working relationship.  Each of these groups have certain goals in mind, which intersect, thereby creating an atmosphere of solidarity, of purpose:  Today these groups have become so symbiotically linked together,  that it now seems that to disagree with one aspect of their agenda, is to disagree with it all.

Thus many in the various churches are feel conflicted, because while they do support certain aspect of social activism, there are other aspects that refuse to support, due to moral reasons.

There is no better example of the conflict that now rages, when it comes to dealing with our societal issues on a moral and social level than the questions concerning the Black Lives Matter movement.   For us as believers we take very serious the command of our Lord, to love others and to seek their well being,  Therefore  when we see mistreatment and abuse taking place against ANYONE, we must be willing to stand with them, as we seek the betterment of their condition.

A notable example being the fact that many believers in an effort to seek to promote fairness and justice, for the downtrodden, voice their support for the BLM movement.   In doing so many believers find themselves conflicted because of certain aspects of the BLM agenda.

The co-founders of BLM don’t shy away from the fact, that one of their main goals is to further the LGBTQ cause:

As most people know, The organization Black Lives Matter, has three cofounders, Patisse Cullors, Opal Tometi,  and Alicia  Garza.   Co-founder Alicia Garza is a strong supporter of LGBTQ rights.  While attending college in California  she met Malachi Garza, a biracial transgender male. activist and organizer. In 2004, Alicia came out as queer to her family. In 2008, she married Malachi and took the name Garza.

Co-founder Patisse Cullors, who is in a same sex marriage with another woman explains,  “Out of the three co-founders of BLM, Two of us are queer, and much of our base is black women and queer black women, Much of our organization, about 90% of it, is women. And we would say almost 60% are queer.  In times past, the call for change in this sense of the word “change”, has left  women, queer and transgender people, and others either out of the movement or in the background.  As a network, we have always recognized the need to center the leadership of women and queer and trans people.

In high school, I came out to my friends as queer. My entire world opened up; this was a monumental step toward unveiling my truest self. I had my first girlfriend when I was sixteen years old. She and I were out to our families and friends, and it felt good to live inside a new sort of sexual freedom. I was introduced to queer conferences, pride, and spaces that allowed me and my community to explore our queerness and blackness in ways that shaped our identity and social-justice practice.

I found it repulsive that loving same-sex couples were refused the right. And so I vowed I would support the marriages of heterosexual couples only if same-sex marriage—or at least the concomitant benefits—was legal.

In June of 2015 I met Janaya Khan. I knew without a doubt that Janaya, a black transgender immigrant born and raised in Toronto, was to be my life partner. Together, we could challenge marriage as a white, heteronormative, religious construct. Compare,

   1. Black Lives Matter  promotes gender flexibility. BLM leaders explain that  Black liberation movements in times past, mainly sought to create room, space, and opportunity mostly for  black heterosexual, cisgender men (men who identify with their physical makeup, i.e. having a penis means I’m a man).  They say that one of the main goals of the BLM movement, is to recognize a person’s gender, as self identified. For example if a women identifies as being a male, she should have the right to assume this identity, in spite of the fact she does not have penis.

2. Black Lives Matter seeks to dismantle the Biblical definition of family. In their own words, BLM activist say that they are “committed to disrupting the Western prescribed nuclear family structure requirement.”

 3. Black Lives Matter champions the celebration of LGBTQ-ISM. They refer to it as “queer-affirming,” but it simply boils down to advocating sexual interactions of every sort without restrictions.

As we have said there is such a close symbiotic relationship between, Feminism,  Humanism,  LGBTQ-ISM,  and Black Live Matter.  Therefore when we as believers take a stand against certain agendas presented by these various groups, we are labeled as being against it all.

The matter of Racism-  According to https://www.ucg.org/,  “When we investigate what the Bible actually says, the clear message from cover to cover is that God loves all people and is “not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9, emphasis added throughout).

Part of the cultural backdrop of the early New Testament Church was the false idea that God favored the Jews more than all other nations or races of people. For this reason, there are numerous clear statements in the New Testament dispelling the notion that a person’s ethnicity or nationality impacted their salvation.

Peter was specially commissioned by God to teach the truth that
“God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him” (Acts 10:34-35). The apostle Paul also combated racism in his writings. Perhaps his most famous and poignant teaching on the matter is Galatians 3:28, which says, “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”

In light of such powerfully inclusive teachings, there is certainly no basis in the New Testament for racism, but what about the Old Testament? Despite how certain passages have been misconstrued and abused, there is not a single scripture that promotes racism in the Old Testament. Instead, we find that God has always regarded people by one standard only: whether they love and obey Him.

This was echoed in Acts 10:34-35 above, but is actually found as far back as the Ten Commandments, where God Himself said, “I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments” (Exodus 20:5-6).

Even from the very earliest interaction between God and Israel, namely the Passover just before the Exodus, God included a provision for non-Israelites to become a part of His people if they would obey His law (Exodus 12:48-49).

Within the nation of ancient Israel, God made dozens of provisions in the law to protect, care for and respect foreigners living in the land, and to allow them to participate in worship of Him at the Tabernacle (see Exodus 20:10Exodus 22:21Leviticus 19:10Leviticus 19:33-34Leviticus 24:22Leviticus 25:6Numbers 15:15, and many more!).There are numerous occasions in the Bible where God did pronounce judgment and punishment against a nation or group of people; however, this was always based on their actions, never their race.

In the turbulent times that we now live in we stress the importance of keeping in mind the central theme of the gospel, which is the fact that God's love extends to us ALL.   Our key message is a message that proclaims the fact, that  according to John 3:16-17,  ALL lives matter to God.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”   Jn 3:16-17.
